//Otl Aicher//

I'm currently experimenting with reducing objects down to their most simplest form for a typographic project I'm working on so I thought it appropriate to blog the master of this pictographic style Otl Aicher, widely known for his Munich 72' olympic excellence here is a link to a great flickr site of his output and above is a book I am pining after... simplicity at its best.

I thought I'd seen it all when it came to paper engineering in design, its become a huge trend in image making pioneered by the hugely talented Chrissie Macdonald of Peepshow, Le creative sweatshop is a new discovery though and very awe inspiring it is!

Christopher Bettig runs a studio called The Mountain label. I like his output because it is so varied, you won't see any editorial illustration on this site, I personally like his installation work, attached is some for Candy store which caught my eye.
