ROANNE ADAMS

I can't speak highly enough of the work of studio Roanne Adams, beautifully strong brand identities and art direction.

Above is their work for fashion label Lorrick, although it was a tough task to pick just one project!

I'm not sure what it is about their work that appeals to me so much but maybe its because a lot of the projects have a lovely modern nostalgia feel about them, something I personally love to see in design and often filter into my own work where its appropriate.

//A Friend of Mine//

Some really lovely Identity work on the A Friend Of Mine site. This particular project is for a weaving company and I love the amount of thought that has gone into the final print Job. The modern flower company project makes an appearance on Suzy's site too as she used to work over at multistory before setting up her own Melbourne based design practice.

Not wanting my last post of the day to be a pair of pants..here's a design studio I've been planning to post for a while, all Multistorey's work is fantastic but I have to pick one piece and I'm a huge fan of their branding work for the modern flower company. Incidentally Rhonda Drakeford who is one of Multistorey's founders is the brains behind the fantastic Darkroom which I've previously posted...its a small world after all!

//Anagarama//

Lovely use of colour in this branding for the boutique Romantica by a great new discovery Mexican design studio Anagrama, the mix of traditional and contemporary really makes this work sing. Also pictured is their interior for Theurel & Thomas pâtisserie, which sells amazingly beautiful macaroons in San Pedro.
