DILMOS | SHOP | FURNITURE & PRODUCT
Dilmos was founded in 1980 as an exhibition space for designer furniture. Here are a few of my favourite finds from their limited collection. All these artists have been previously featured on the blog and I am particularly fond of Kiki Van Eijk, whose work just seems to strike a cord with me, love the element of fantasy and humour in her work, really great stuff!

CONOR CRONIN | DESIGN & ART DIRECTION
I am partial to a bit of arranging, and although its become a little bit of a 'trend' in design, I will always be partial to a little prop styling, and Barcelona based designer Conor Cronin has definitely nailed it. His whole portfolio is spot on and well worth a visit, there are some great identity jobs on there too!

THE MATTER OF THINGS | STOCKHOLM FURNITURE FAIR 2011
I came across these photographs from the exhibition The matter of things and fell in love with the pieces below, perhaps its because they have some sort of narrative quality to them and being an illustrator I seem to like objects that look like they have a story to tell, what ever the reason, its all lovely stuff... you can see more here
I'd love the cabinet below by Sofie Samuelson in my own home.

ART TO BUY FROM OCCUPY
Another nice thing about perusing Ideas to steal in the previous post was to see posts on my other half Mr Von and good friend Darren Firth's wonderful online print and originals store, Occupy. Well worth a peruse as there have been some wonderful recent additions to the shop...my favourites below
but see all new prints here and be sure to check out the excellent blog too whilst you're there.

THE SCIENCE OF ART
"Have you ever taken a close look at art from the Renaissance period? If you have ever studied art history, you’ve no doubt learned that artists during this time often based their compositions on a triangle..." READ MORE HERE

SARAH ILLENBERGER | HERMES WINDOW
Sarah Illenberger is without a doubt one of my favourite makers, I love how her work is so difficult to define, so varied but has such a strong identity as her own creation. Everything she touches turns to gold and these windows are no exception...I have to admit I am well jel..at the same time as being totally inspired!
